Service Description

This is a highly effective and painless physical exfoliation performed with a disposable sterile blade to gently remove dead skin cells from the epidermis with a special technique. This also temporarily “shaves off” the fine vellous hair (peach fuzz) off the face, leaving a very smooth and vibrant skin. This procedure helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, milia, comedones, hyper and post hyperpigmentation, evens skin tone and stimulates new skin cell development. It is a great preparatory treatment for peels that increases penetration of active ingredients in professional cabinet and home care routine. Dermaplaning can be an alternative exfoliating method to waxing, microdermabrasion and chemical peels for clients with a very delicate, sensitive, couperose and/or allergic skin types. Treatment is recommended every 4-6 weeks. **Multiple treatments may be combined upon request.** **Individual results may vary.**
